What we collect

Quote and service forms may collect your name, phone number, email address, project address, project details, electrical-panel or site photos, and utility bills. Job applications may also include employment information, a résumé, and a cover letter. Advertising visits may carry a Google click identifier and campaign tags.

Why we use it

We use this information to respond to your request, prepare or route a quote, assess the proposed work, process a job application, prevent abuse, and understand which advertising produced a real enquiry. We do not sell submitted information.

How submissions travel

Vercel hosts the website and stores uploaded files. Resend delivers form details to the appropriate K-Jay inbox. The lead email separately carries first-touch campaign identifiers, when available, so K-Jay can identify its source.

Saved drafts on your device

Quote and service forms automatically save answers, your current step, and selected files in this browser using local storage and IndexedDB, when available. These drafts are not sent to K-Jay until you submit the request and do not sync to another device. There is no automatic time-based expiry. The form clears its saved draft after a successful submission, or you can use “Clear saved draft” in the form. You can also remove drafts by clearing this website’s data in your browser. On a shared device, clear your draft before leaving; someone using the same browser profile may otherwise see your details or selected files. Browser settings or storage limits can prevent saving.

Advertising cookies and identifiers

When configured, Google Ads and Google Analytics receive information about page visits and activity, including website addresses, browser or device information, and advertising identifiers. Google advertising tags can set or read cookies during ordinary page visits, before you submit a form. We also keep available campaign tags and click identifiers in browser session storage to connect a submitted enquiry to its source. This activity is not limited to aggregate counts. You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings; this may limit advertising measurement. These settings do not clear saved form drafts unless you also clear this website’s stored data.

Uploaded files

Uploads use private storage: knowing the storage URL alone does not grant access. Our server reads your files and sends them as attachments through Resend to the appropriate K-Jay inbox. A temporary, essential upload-session cookie connects files to your submission and expires after one hour. The old public upload copies were removed on September 3, 2026. Do not upload identification, payment details, or unrelated sensitive records. Submitted files are used to assess the request or application. Private website uploads are retained for 30 days and removed during the next daily cleanup. Older files migrated into private storage are retained for 30 days from migration. Copies delivered to our inboxes or saved in job folders are separate records and are not removed by that cleanup.

To keep email delivery reliable, uploads are limited to 15 MB per file and 18 MB total per submission, with up to 20 files. Large supported photos are reduced before uploading. If sending an email manually using the fallback, attach the original files yourself.

Your choices

You may call instead of using a form. You may also ask what information K-Jay holds from your website submission, request a correction, or request deletion where record-retention obligations do not require it.
