What to expect from K-Jay
A price for your installation
Run length, installation difficulty, and the need for load management shape the price. Your quote includes the electrical permit, travel, and load management when required for the agreed scope. Most installations fall between $1,500 and $2,800 including GST; work outside that range is priced for the actual project.
Bring your own charger
Most clients supply their own charger, and we welcome that. Send its make and model with your intake so we can confirm compatibility. If K-Jay supplies it, the charger is a separate upfront line item in your quote.
Load management is a common option
We regularly include load management where the home's available electrical capacity calls for it. We assess the service, existing loads, charger, and cable route together before recommending equipment or an upgrade.

How quickly will I receive my EV quote?
We send your quote in 2–3 business days after receiving the complete online intake and required photos. If information is missing, we will follow up so we can price the actual scope.
Can you quote without a site visit?
Yes. Our photo-based intake is the usual starting point for a firm EV installation quote. Complete details of the panel, parking location, cable route, and charger help us plan the work remotely.
Does the $1,500–$2,800 range include the charger?
No. The range includes GST and installation, with permits and required load management included in the quoted scope. A K-Jay-supplied charger is listed separately; you are welcome to provide your own.
Can I use a dealer installation credit?
Eligible North Edmonton Kia and LAG Auto customers can receive $500 off K-Jay's EVSE installation price before GST. Credit is subject to change. We may require proof of purchase from the dealer partner. This is an installation credit from K-Jay, not a change to the vehicle sale price.
